Q : Is it possible to transfer the contents of my iTunes to the iTunes on another computer?

I have just purchased a new laptop and would like to transfer all the songs, videos etc from the iTunes on my old laptop to the iTunes on my new laptop. Is this possible and if so how would I do it?
Thanks!

You cannot transfer songs from iTunes to iTunes. BUT, if you plug in your iPod and download a software called iDump, you can transfer songs from your iPod to your new laptop, then load those songs into the iTunes of that computer. This allows all your songs to be backed up on the hard drive of this computer AND you can sort/rename/delete/listen to them on iTunes.

The link to iDump is: http://download.cnet.com/iDump/3000-2169_4-10407429.html?tag=mncol

iDump may tag on “mp3″ to the end of some song names, but you can easily edit the song names in iTunes. Also, if a song title is too long, it will be truncated. This is an excellent software considering it’s free. :-)

Firstly, make sure iTunes is installed on you new laptop. Then, just copy the whole ‘iTunes Music’ folder (located in Music > iTunes) from your old laptop, and paste in the same directory on your new laptop. It will ask you if you would like to merge it, in which you would select yes. If this does not automatically appear in your iTunes library, just select File > Add folder to library, and select the new ‘iTunes Music’ folder.

    There’s 3 ways I know of
You can go onto Music>itunes>and find a file called ‘itunes library. put it onto memory stick and transferr it. Another method requires simply putting all your songs/videos/ect. onto a memory stick but that would need a big memory stick. Lastly, if u put em onto ur ipod, then plug ur ipod into the other PC. there’s a small free program called ‘ephpod’ which takes stuff off ur ipod. :)
